Website colors evoke emotions and associations.

According to color psychology, colors evoke emotional responses and associations . Color influences your website visitor's first impression, their opinion of your brand, and their interaction with your site. Color can optimize the effectiveness of your website design.


Although there are some subjective aspects to the characteristics that a color conveys—such as cultural differences and personal experience—there are some generally accepted associations in Western culture. Here is a simplified list of the feelings and associations that colors can evoke.
